T Cells and Skin Inflammation
My lab is interested in studying the relationship between malignant T cells in cutaneous lymphoma (including mycosis fungoides and Sezary syndrome) and skin inflammation. In particular, our laboratory examines the gene or molecular differences between benign skin inflammation such as eczema and malignant inflammation as seen in cutaneous T cell lymphoma to identify key molecules as diagnostic tools and as potential therapeutic targets of cutaneous T cell lymphoma.
